Dirk Kat opens a grocery store in 1941. In 1949, he opened his first self-service store under the name Kijk Grip in Velsen-Noord. The family business DekaMarkt has 99 stores in the provinces of North and South Holland, Gelderland, Overijssel, Utrecht and Flevoland. We also have a delivery service (online shopping). The supermarket chain has been part of Detailresult Groep N.V. since 1 January 2009. In addition to various supermarket formulas, Detailresult Groep N.V also has its own production companies, various distribution centers, fresh produce centers and transport. Finally, there are garden centers and liquor stores affiliated with the company.
